Kobe was adopted in February 2021 from the San Diego Department of Animal Services in Carlsbad under the generous Red Star Sponsorship of Boeing. He is a goofy, playful guy who loves cuddling and training with his dad.
In January 2022 he officially became the psychiatric service dog for USMC Veteran, Peter Nolan. This team shares a special bond, and Kobe provides the support Peter needs and deserves to live life to the fullest.
Peter, who works as a substitute teacher, says of Kobe “Kobe has a reputation across the Vista Unified School District and they love him. I’m so grateful for Shelter to Soldier.”
