Meet Keeta and Rey!
Rey, USN Ret. and his service dog Keeta graduated the Shelter to Soldier service dog training program in July 2020. The team worked hard for several months, enduring the hardship of a 3-month-long pause in handler training due to COVID-19. Rey was joyfully joined by his family at the graduation ceremony celebrating this amazing pair! Fast forward two years, and the team now shares an even deeper bond and connection.
Keeta’s journey from adoption, through the program, and to her graduation with Rey was generously sponsored by Chris and Rick. Keeta was adopted from our rescue partner, Labs & More Rescue.
